100 Mile Dinner (Brunch)

One of our Parish Goals is to improve our environmental stewardship, we are asking those in our parish to participate in the 100 Mile Dinner.
As we grow this event, we are tying it into our reconciliation goals where we ask all to wear orange in honor of National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
How to Participate:
Sign up to attend our 2nd annual 100 mile Dinner/Luncheon.
Prepare your dish with as many local food items as possible. Be creative and try foods you haven’t had before. Food items must be found, grown, raised, or produced within 100 miles of Winnipeg.

Where to find items: In your own garden, Farmer’s markets, local supermarkets. Example of items, Bison, beef, chicken, pork, fish, variety of vegetables, fruits and berries. When searching, ask your butcher or person selling the item where the items are from. Read the labels.
Write your items and where they are from on the tag below and display them with your dish.
