A great time was had by all at St. Andrew's Hoedown on September 17, 2022. We were entertained by the fabulously talented Denby Family Band, who had many up dancing by the end of the evening. Perhaps it was the demonstration and instruction by the Whirlaway Westerners that got us up dancing though. Whichever group it was, we are thankful to both for making our evening extra special.
We were not only entertained at the Hoedown but nourished as well. The chicken dinner with beans, potato salad, coleslaw and a bun were delicious. The apple pie rounded off the meal well.
The Hoedown would not be the same without draws for prizes. We sure had prizes!!! Many people left with a door prize gift certificate for groceries or a meal. The prizes baskets were packed full of goodies and our bid up prizes made it fun to see who the successful bidders were.
Huge thanks goes out to our lead planner Nina and her hard working committee. Thanks to everyone for donating prizes, buying tickets to come, and making it such a great evening.
