After 28 years as organist and choirmaster at St Andrews Anglican Church in Winnipeg, Russ Greene has decided to move on towards another chapter in his life. Russ will be missed by all of us at St Andrews, but especially by the choir members – he has a very special relationship with each one of them and has been a mentor, teacher, and most especially a friend. Russ’s knowledge of the history of the organ and music in the Anglican church is well known and he was instrumental in the purchase and design of St Andrew’s Phoenix organ back in 2006.
Russ will be dearly missed but we wish him all the best in the years to come. We are thankful for the many wonderful memories that he has given us. Take care and God bless Russ!
