On September 10th we were pleased to welcome The Reverend Chris Barnes, a newly ordained priest in the Diocese. He will be interning with us from September 2023 to May 2024 as “Educational Missioner”, in areas spanning from liturgy, education to pastoral care.
Rev. Chris currently works at St. Aiden’s Church as Church Missioner and will be joining us part time as he continues his educational experience and begins his ministry as an Anglican Priest.
Chris joined the staff at St Aidan's in 2016 after serving with several ministries within the inner city. Chris has recently completed his Graduate Studies at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, and was ordained to the Priesthood on August 22nd.
Chris always enjoys connecting with family and friends and has a great love for animals. He enjoys exercising outside, attempting to play golf, reading about history and cheering on the Habs. Most of all, Chris has a deep passion to be a servant of the gospel.
